The first time Kalipso takes damage each game, ignore it. It does not matter how much damage is taken, whether 1 or 6, etc. It becomes zero. Think of her ability as a one-time shield that she activates at the beginning of each game. Once it's hit, it absorbs all the damage, but then breaks, and it is gone for the rest of the game.
